Oriana Golden Spur is an early release of the 2022 harvest. It was a spectacular year marked by the hottest and driest summer
in recent history.This led to high quality, clean fruit with exceptional flavour and high yields. Conditions were perfect for the growing of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay – our noble grape varieties.

NOSE: The bouquet opens with warm brioche and a subtle nuttiness, lifted by aromas of golden apple and ripe yellow plum. Hints of apricot and honeysuckle add a delicate floral note, giving both richness and finesse.

PALATE: A fine, elegant mousse delivers generous orchard and stone fruit, underpinned by the creamy richness and gentle savoury depth that define the Oriana style.The palate is rich and generously structured, creating a giving and enveloping style of wine. Pinot Noir provides breadth and weight, while Chardonnay contributes a poised freshness with a welcome
lift that lingers across the palate.A touch of spice add further complexity, rounding out the expression.

FINISH: The finish is long and concentrated, unfolding with baked apple, caramelised citrus peel, and delicate toasted almond. A chalky mineral thread, true to the South Downs terroir, brings clarity and definition, while a lingering freshness invites another sip.
