Oriana 2019: The Best of the Best English Sparkling Wine

We are thrilled to share that our Oriana Brut 2019 has been awarded a 2025 IWSC Trophy, recognising it as the best of the best English sparkling wine.

The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) is one of the world’s most respected wine competitions. Each year, wines are blind-tasted and awarded medals — Bronze, Silver, or Gold. From these Gold-winning wines, the judges select a single Trophy winner in each category — the wine that truly stands out for excellence.

This year, our Oriana 2019 was one of only two English sparkling wines to receive this prestigious Trophy — a rare honour that confirms its place at the very pinnacle of English sparkling wine. To achieve this, a wine must not only earn Gold but also demonstrate remarkable balance, finesse, and consistency.

The Trophy panel included some of the most experienced palates in the industry: John Hoskins MW, David Kermode, Emma Penman, Andrew Craig, and Zareh Mesrobian. Their recognition of Oriana 2019 makes this achievement even more meaningful for us.

Crafted from 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 10% Pinot Meunier, Oriana 2019 reflects the care and dedication we bring to every step of our winemaking. From vineyard to glass, we nurture each stage with patience and precision.
